We had a great exhibition at Subcon last week. The exhibition provided a friendly atmosphere to visit key players from the Subcon, Advanced Manufacturing and Design Engineering industries.
Richard Heaton, Lead Consultant for Sub-Contract Engineering and Manufacturing commented:
It was great to engage with a number of exhibitors and visitors from the exhibition and to see so many familiar faces. The event provided a great location to meet with clients, speak to candidates and learn more about what is happening in the Subcon sector.

It was also fascinating to catch a glimpse at future technologies on display. The nano technology Graphene, developed by Manchester University, was one such example. Manchester University showcased the lightweight and flexible material and its potential applications to industry which included mobile phone screens. Hopefully this means no more cracked screens in the future!
The Advanced Manufacturing Show and The Engineer Design and Innovation Show, both growing subsections of the exhibition, were also impressive with full working machinery on display within the Advanced Manufacturing section. Our team members also attended a number of seminars at The Engineer Conference including 3D printing / additive manufacturing and its application to the aerospace sector.
Overall this has been a fantastic event to be a part of.
